Recently, the author learned from Hengshan Town, Qijiang, Chongqing that the China Meteorological Service Association awarded Chongqing Hengshan the title of "China Climate health land" after the uation and recommendation of the expert committee.

Hengshan Town is located in the northeast of Qijiang district. It is only 50 kilometers away from the main city of Chongqing. It is a 45 minute drive away. It is a mountain health town about km away from the main city of Chongqing. The town covers an area of 45 square kilometers, with a registered population of 15000 and a summer vacation population of 50000. The average altitude is more than 1000 meters, and the average temperature in summer is about 23.8 ℃.

Hengshan Town has a subtropical humid climate, with an annual average temperature of 13.8 ℃ and a historical extreme high temperature of 31.3 ℃. 80% of the area is located in the "golden health preservation altitude line" suitable for human health. The forest coverage of the core scenic area is more than 90%. It has beautiful scenery and pleasant climate, and has the title of "natural oxygen bar" and "air conditioning town".

Hengshan is also China's "hometown of centenarians". There are 7 people over 100 years old, 51 people over 90 years old, and 440 people over 80 years old. The proportion of centenarians in the population is 7 times of the standard of "hometown of longevity" of UNESCO. Hengshan has successively won the "National health town", "Chinese summer resort and leisure tourism destination", "China's famous town of health tourism" and "world top 10 health preservation" "Model town" and other honors.

In terms of the development of health care tourism, Hengshan Town, in accordance with the concept of "joint efforts to protect and not engage in large-scale development", takes "integration of all business forms, linkage of whole space, and creation of whole landscape" as the main path, and focuses on the scientific preparation of Hengshan tourism resort planning and Hengshan forest health base planning. The planning area covers an area of 24.54 square kilometers with an altitude of more than 800 meters in Hengshan Town. By 2020, the construction land area will be 1.87 square kilometers, and the tourist reception capacity will reach 60000 people.

The spatial structure of Hengshan leisure tourism resort is "one axis, two rings and three pieces". "One axis" refers to the development axis of tourism industry, which is also the main axis of landscape development. The "two rings" refer to the two major tourism rings in Hengshan Town: the development ring along Tiantai Mountain ring and the development ring along Liangchang town ring. "Three pieces" refers to three communities based on health care: Tiantai ecological health resort community, Julong health care and living community, Huilong rural organic experience community.
